Here’s another Flint Hydraulics Tech Tip: If a faucet is partially closed, it resists flow by forcing all the flow to pass through a smaller opening. A gauge upstream of the faucet inlet will show an increase of pressure. Closing the faucet a bit will not necessarily reduce the flow rate out of the faucet.
